Rob Bonomolo is a 4th-generation Rockland County resident, community leader, and union laborer who has spent decades giving back to the place he calls home. Raised in Pearl River, Rob learned early the values of hard work, teamwork, and standing up for others—principles that continue to guide his service today.
Rob is proud to serve as President of the Rockland County Laborers Local 754, representing working men and women who build our roads, schools, and infrastructure. He understands firsthand what it means to punch a clock, raise a family, and fight for fair wages, safe jobsites, and dignity on the job.
Meet Rob
Deeply committed to youth and community service, Rob is also the President of Pearl River Little League, where he works year-round to create opportunities for local kids, support volunteers, and strengthen community traditions. Whether it’s opening day ceremonies, field improvements, or scholarship programs, Rob believes youth sports build character, responsibility, and lifelong bonds.
In addition to his labor and volunteer leadership, Rob serves on the Town of Orangetown Zoning Board of Appeals, where he brings a common-sense, fair-minded approach to local decision-making, balancing growth with respect for neighborhoods and taxpayers.
Rob is a husband and father who believes family comes first. Like so many families across District 97, he is focused on keeping communities safe, schools strong, taxes affordable, and local voices heard in Albany.
Rob is running for New York State Assembly in the 97th District to be a strong, independent voice for working families, seniors, small businesses, and all who call Rockland County home. He believes government works best when it listens, shows up, and delivers real results not headlines.
